Yes, I think that TakingITGlobal has given me an opportunity to network with various youth globally, and to gain a better understanding of what is happening internationally. As well I believe that TIG can do even more in terms of creating an inclusive environment for young people to network, gather ideas, and reflect upon their personal challenges, especially with regards to youth in Africa. Specifically, it is the people in these rural and agricultural communities whose daily struggles and interdependence on natural resources, which have been largely ignored by the bordering urban population, inspires me. My inspiration is derived mainly from the written literature most especially the bible and some books written by renown African writers like John Ruganda and Chinuea Acheabe. This is because they give me a desire to move on and always think positively and not to accept others make decisions for me and always be my self but not to do anything to please others but rather that will benefit me, make me happy without interfering the with those around me.
